Gil David

Gil David is a Chicano from Watsonville, California, but now living in Las Vegas. He is known for his smooth black and grey realism, custom lettering and anime tattoos. He apprenticed at the award winning shop, Exclusive Ink in Salinas, CA in 2021, and owes the majority of his success to his mentors, Juan & Cesar Gonzalez, Ram Navarro, Ariel Cruz and Winona Taylor. During his apprenticeship David was actually cut and dropped because many artists in the shop didn’t think he would make it. That turned out to be an enormous mistake and for the following years they saw the meteoric rise of one of the hottest upcoming artists in the game. To this day David is the first and only artist to ever come out of Watsonville to be recognized and recruited by some of the most famous shops in Las Vegas.
